Sipping Tea watching it Rain

While Sitting sipping Tea.. I thought I'd add an item to my Blog

    of course it would be even SwEEter, if it would sell...then I can make more LOL this "Artistic" outlet/hobby gets addictive, I love it, except when I have trouble with the decals and have to throw them away Grrrr I'm not having the best of luck with in-my-cedar-chest decals, water has to be pretty darn cool or they bleed and you have to leave them longer than a minute or they won't slide, whats up with these decal people, are they useing old paper? the gal in Tacoma WA i never have problems with hers, Shar

    she uses a matte finish not acrylic gloss like crystal clear, i love her images and intend on buying from her again but asking she not top coat them and all just do it myself. matte is great for unshiny surfaces but it doesn't like glass. you have to soak these in tepid water about 20 sec and let them just sit on a paper towel another 30. i generally blow about 4 decals a sheet under normal circumstances, glass decaling is tricky especially with larger decals. mo in tacoma doesnt use the bel jet paper and her decals hold color better and seem more elastic without being gummy. i think she uses a laser printer instead of an ink jet, but just guessing. ~L

    Yup, Tacoma uses laser, I like hers best, but she doesn't have the best variety of colors, I really like a lot of the designs that wildrose is doing,she has lots of variety, but don't want to waste money on more not so good decals, in-my-cedar-chest has some pretty decals on etsy now, but what with my sales kaflooey I don't think I'll do more jars for awhile, I have a back log of ones to list as it is
    etsy is still adding extra tages in front on google searchs, maybe cause those items were already listed when all this came to a head? when they will disapear I dunno
    I can't believe you sold those 4 little tiny jelly jars, I have one of those left from a gift set I got years ago, I think you could shabby chic your dog and sell it..He He
